Justin Gamache for VT Governor 2016

It’s official folks!! I Justin Gamache will be entering the Governor race in Vermont, and will run as an Independent Canidate! Just to think I know what its like to live like all of you, my local Vermont friends, and have that experience starting from the bottom.

Step 1: I am not going for the 500 signatures I need to get on the ballot, I am going as a Independent write-in canidate, like I did the first time.. I got 1400 write-ins, let’s push for more.

Step 2: I want to look at property taxes in Vermont, most many know who lives in VT have to pay high property taxes. Even with Homestead they are still high. This idea will reform property taxes, and allow for families to move back to Vermont. But of course the current system we have now with property taxes goes to benefit our public education. Public education in Vermont should not have to carry such a high cost to many of our residents who own their home. We need to design a plan which will reduce property taxes in Vermont, and keep the high quality of education going. I am up for ideas from my local VT friends! How can we lower property taxes? Yet still keep our public education schools state of the art? It’s something only the people of Vermont need to decide, as the people I represent.

Step 3: Continue the single payer system for Health care in Vermont. Medicaid & Medicare for all. Everything comes at a cost, so again how can we provide health care without the high cost. I want to make it affordable for all, the idea is you have a right to health care, and no one should have to work 6 jobs just to pay for your health insurance premium or co-pays. Again I am asking the people of Vermont, as I represent you, and your opinion is what matters.

Step 4: Infrastructure repairs; I want to get together with the best and the brightest to create a clean efficient infrastructure which will allow for low maintence. I know infrastructure today we are still at the beginning stages, and have much much more to go. I-91 from Guilford Farmers-Market​ “Guildford, VT” to the Canadian border. I-89 from Burlington Vt to White River Jct, VT. Route 7 from Pownal, VT to Canadian border. Route 100 from Stamford, Vermont​ South to North. many many more roads and bridges which need a reform policy to allow a complete revamping/renew of our roads and bridges.

Step 5: Be the leading state in USA for renewable energy, wind and solar. It is time to rethink how we can lower our emissions for the nations aging electric grid. I know many Vermont residents don’t want to see the natural ridge line “GREEN MOUNTAINS”, be over run north to south with Wind power. I agree! But we need to come to an agreement, that is why i want to see the people using their brilliant Vermont minds. We don’t have to install Wind turbines on every mountain in Vermont, but we need them, so I am calling for a reform of this states renewable energy. Also every house in Vermont should have solar and wind installed on their property, nothing that would look ugly but allow for our residents to take benefit in lowering their electric costs and help create a Greener state. Solar & Wind need to be affordable in Vermont, and by passing the idea to our residents allowing them to decide and buy their own renewable energy. We don’t want to destroy our natural ridge line and amazing view, we want to make sure that every house has their opportunities to make clean electricity. That is why I will be pushing the idea that all residents should be able to afford solar and wind, and benefit to lower our emissions.

Step 6: We’ve heard the idea of creating a “Tuition free community college”, but before we do this all Vermont College students will have their student debt forgiven. This is the beginning, and a big thank you to all the hard working college students who worked hard to better their future at a higher education insitution. Yes if you are a Vermont resident and attended an out-of-state school or online school at home, your student debt will also be forgiven. Everyone should not be afraid and stress because they have student loans.. All Vermont college students debt will be FORGIVEN.

We will have to convince this plan across the country, it will be difficult, but we need your support on this. The time is now, you went to college to achieve your degree’s and you shouldn’t have to fear being a debt slave trying to pay something back that only continues to grow with its interest rate!

Step 7: My plan is to make Vermont a family friendly state, that you can still have access to public education for free. You can get state of the art Internet at top speeds 1 GB for all for $70 a month. With this idea in mind, we can use the Internet funds to pay for our education. A great idea, and we can join monetization programs to allow the funds to automatically be sent to education. Say you’re child is searching online to complete a school project, every search and click adds money to the fund for Vermont education. We can benefit from every Internet connection, as it is a necessity, a need for every child to have at school and at home. 10% of your month internet bill goes to pay for education, the rest goes to the improvement of the infrastruction and staff to keep it going.

(I am probably leaving something out, and want to discuss what you think I should run on. How can we fund the many things we need and depend on in our life? How can we lower the cost of property taxes, but still have a goal to continue bettering our public education system? How can we come up with ways to allow for renewable energy, but not ruin the beautiful ridge line and view in Vermont? I can’t run alone, and I need your support. I am not going to say something just to convince you to elect me “write-in” my name. I am going to run on the truth, and want to side with the people of Vermont. Help me get elected, push my idea, push my plans, and LET’S MAKE VERMONT AWESOME!)

On this note: I need to hire a manager, this position is volunteer and SEEKING AN INDIVIDUAL THAT WILL HELP ME PUSH TO MAKE VERMONT THE BEST FAMILY FRIENDLY STATE IN THE COUNTRY. I am running on Non-profit funds, so if you donate your funds are going for a good cause to help me get around the state.. and I WILL MAKE A PROMISE TO THE PEOPLE OF VERMONT… I AM THE MAN FOR THIS JOB…. To also add, I AM ALSO A full time MUSIC TEACHER.. So LET’S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

I'm going to admit something, a bit of honest folks, and we have a problem. The problem is $$$ money $$$, and we won't succeed if continue down the road of that dollar... We will succeed however when we begin realizing our humanity is more important, our lives should not come at a cost, and it is our world asking for this change. Freedom and Unity, two things best given to our Vermont. It will be hard but its going to happen, and we will feel so much better once we evolve passed the dollar. I will make a promise to lead Vermont, in the right direction, and that direction doesn't involve living with the dollar. That is reality! I am running as a WRITE-IN Independent Candidate for Vermont Governor 2016.
