ABOUT Justin Gamache, MEd:
I have taken upon many years of my life to achieve success in learning and maintaining the musicality skills that I own. I have worked through college from summer 2004, as a music major, learning all the tricks and trades there needs to be known on Clarinet while also picking up Bass Clarinet and self-taught on other instruments as well. After 2008 I decided to take a quick break, but got back on the studies transferring to American Intercontinental University where I graduated with an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration Cum laude in 2009. I then transferred again to Liberty University, where I maintained my studies working towards my Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies working with two cognates: Education & Fine Arts.
Now I have successfully completed my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership at Concordia University; I started this program in July 2014 as it has taken 1 year to complete, and all straight A's to prove my work flow and achievement. My Action Research project/Disertation topic was on "THE EFFECTS OF SOUND ON THE HUMAN BODY", the purpose of this research is to build a study group which will examine the use of music and silence by experimenting with music, sound, and silence in four groups of elderly citizens. This study will help develop research in the medical field, but also build a music program for the local school that allows students to be expressive, creative, have fun, and experience what health benefits music has to offer. Finally, this proposal will be the standing foundation for music therapy and music education that will help fill the gaps to understanding the effects of sound on the human body.
